- foam pad for a work surface
There is enough wool roving in this kit to make one ski-sheep about 5" tall.

All kits include 2 new felting needles and include almost everything you need. You will need a foam pad or sponge to use as a work surface. We have two sizes of foam pads available in our shop that will last through many, many projects. Since each kit includes 2 sharp, barbed, felting needles we recommend them for ages 8 and up. Younger children have been very successful with needle felting but of course adult supervision is highly recommended for anyone under the age of 13.
