About

A Family that Knits Together…

Fengari Fiber Arts is the creative collaboration of grandmother and granddaughter team Ann Gevas and Kim McFall.

Doors first opened to their original retail location on Main Street in 2000, and since then, business has unraveled in all the most magnificent ways. In 2004, Ann and Kim moved into their current storefront at 415 Main Street, and with a little more space on hand, have furthered their mission to make a wide and wonderful variety of yarns from all over the world available to the creative and crafty people who live in (or pass through) the historic coastal town of Half Moon Bay, California.

“I enjoy texture contrasts and am fascinated with color,” says Gevas. “Specializing in knitting “felt like the right thing to do,” explained Gevas. “I can be more helpful to people.”

Fengari displays are bursting with skeins of yarn of all colors, fiber combinations and textures. Knitters will find everything from fine merino wool to alpaca to metallic yarns in both solid and multiple colors. Expect to get lost in an all-encompassing selection of books on knitting technique and patterns and magazines. And with knitted sweaters, caps and scarves everywhere, on top of a wide selection of knitting needles and notions, you'll have everything under the sun (and moon) you?ll need to make some creative magic happen!

Fengari also offers a full spectrum of knitting and fiber arts-related classes for all ability levels.
